In addition to clinical training, Dr. Cohn was actively involved in research and has made multiple presentations at regional, national, and international Orthopaedic Surgery Conferences and has had several papers published in multiple orthopaedic journals.
While in residency, Dr. Cohn trained in orthopaedics
at several hospitals in the Houston Medical Center and was fortunate to work with physicians who treated the athletes of the Houston Texans, Astros, and Rockets, as well as the performers in the Houston Ballet. During this time he was able to focus both conservative and surgical management of the high demand athlete. After his residency, Dr. Cohn took and passed his written Board examination in General Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Cohn continues to research minimally invasive surgery techniques and computer navigation technology. Each year, he receives further training in the most up-to-date techniques in shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle surgery.
Dr. Cohn is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Southern Orthopaedic Association, the Western Orthopaedic Association, and the Texas Orthopaedic Association.
